Starting over, yes, but in which direction?
(A dramaturgy of paradox)
The research takes an other perspective on the identity of works and opens up a path for uncategorized poetic constructions elaborated through the sole use of body, speech and images in motion in a space. This minimalist process induces narrative phenomena specific to the common foundations of dance and cinema. The participants appropriate the work of an artist, transform its original identity and give it a different status.

- Les Disparates AR
The movie Les Disparates was produced according to the eponym solo, a choreography by Boris Charmatz and Dimitri Chamblas. The working group conceives the play’s return to the set base don the movie, transforming it into a collective play, with each participant in charge of one of the movie’s sequences, which could become a live-streamed show.

In his play (Re)main, Jeremy Nedd decomposed and synthesized hip-hop band PNL’s moves in the video for their single Oh Lala. He explores the hypertestosteroned posturing of the hip-hop imagery, subtracting sounds and gender stereotypes, taking the corporal vocabulary out of context. A subjective and poetic appropriation which upsets the raw masculine power, in which ego-tripping gives way to dereliction. A process which can be applied to other imageries and other live arts.
